The making of Cherry Marnier involves the use of Dalmatian cherries, famous for their outstanding flavour and the quality of their pulp. After delivery to Neauphle-le-Chateau (France), the cherries are crushed and then macerated for a long period of time in brandy and sugar syrup. Following control and checking of the degree of alcohol, Cherry Marnier is bottled at the Gaillon plant.
