  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons shortening
Instructions:
To prepare this Cornmeal Muffins and Jelly Corn Muffins Recipe, first mix and sift the cornmeal, flour, salt and baking powder. Add the milk gradually, then the well-beaten egg, and melted fat. Bake in a well-greased muffin pans in a hot oven (400-425 degrees F.).

Jelly Corn Muffins
