- 1-¾ cups bread flour
- ¼ cup Argo or Kingsford's Cornstarch
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 egg, beaten light
- 1 tablespoon Karo, Red Label
- ¾ cup milk
- ¼ cup Mazola
Instructions:
To prepare this Quick Rolls Recipe 2, first sift together the dry ingredients, stir in the Mazola, Karo and the egg and milk mixed. Transfer to a floured board, pat to one-fourth inch thickness, cut in rounds, crease each to form a hinge, brush with a little Mazola and fold into pocket shape. Transfer to a pan oiled with Mazola and bake from twenty to twenty-five minutes in a hot oven, 375 to 400 degrees F.
