- 2½ pounds pumpkin
- 2 pounds sugar
- 1 lemon, sliced thin
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- pinch of salt
Instructions:
To prepare this Pumpkin Conserve Recipe, first pare and remove skin of pumpkin, and cut in slices. Add the sugar, cinnamon, salt and lemon slices. Put in stew pan with the cover on and heat gradually. Then increase the heat and boil until the mixture is thick. Pour into jelly glasses.
