- 2 quarts of milk
- 1½ pounds of sugar
- juice of 6 lemons
Instructions:
To prepare this Lemon Sherbet Recipe 2, first mix sugar and milk together; put in freezer, and when partly frozen add juice of lemons and freeze like ice cream. The grated rind and juice of 2 oranges may be added to the above if desired.
