- 6 slices plain cake (without filling or frosting)
- 2½ cups milk, scalded
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
To prepare this Cake Pudding Recipe, first beat the eggs with the sugar and add gradually the scalded milk. Mix well. Add the vanilla extract. Put cake slices in a pudding dish. Pour over them the liquid mixture. Set pudding dish in a pan of water. Bake in moderate oven for about 35 to 40 minutes.
