- 8 ounces of bread or rusk crumbs

- 4 ounces of moist sugar
- Rind and juice of 1 large lemon
- Any jam desired
Instructions:
To prepare this Military Pudding Recipe, first mix the butter, crumbs, sugar and lemon together; grease a medium-sized baking dish, and spread a layer of jam on the bottom, put the mixture on top, and bake for about half an hour.
