- ½ cup rice, washed
- 1 cup figs, chopped
- 2 cups milk, scalded
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
Instructions:
To prepare this Rice And Fig Pudding Recipe, first boil the rice in salted water for about 15 minutes. Run cold water over it. Mix eggs with sugar. Add slowly the milk. Mix together figs and rice. Place fig and rice mixture in a pudding dish. Pour over them the milk mixture. Bake in a slow oven for about 35 minutes.
