- 1/3 pint cream
- 2/3 pint milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons flour
Instructions:
To prepare this Cream Sauce Recipe 2, first heat the milk and cream to scalding in a double boiler. Moisten the flour with a little cold milk, and add to the hot milk and cream, stirring meanwhile. Cook thoroughly, and add salt.
Thin cream sauce is made by using one-half the amount of flour.
