- 1 finnan haddie, cut in 4 pieces
- 1½ cups rice
- 1 cup milk, scalded
- 2 tablespoons butter
- seasonings to taste
Instructions:
To prepare this Finnan Haddie With Rice Recipe, first boil rice in salted water for about 20 minutes. Pour over the rice the scalded milk. Add butter and seasonings. While the rice is cooking, boil the finnan haddie in salted water for about 5 minutes. Remove from water, and bone and skin it. Mix with the rice and serve.
