- 4 brook trout
- ½ cup anchovies, chopped
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 4 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup water
- seasonings to taste
Instructions:
To prepare this Trout (Brook) Stuffed With Anchovies Recipe, first cut open the trout on the under side. Mix anchovies with the butter, and with a fork work into the mixture the bread crumbs. Stuff trout with the bread crumb mixture. Press each trout into original shape. Put trout in a baking pan. Season, add the water, and bake in moderate oven for about 15 to 20 minutes. Then serve.
