• 8 endives, washed
• 4 sweet potatoes
• 3 tablespoons butter
• seasonings to taste

To prepare this Potatoes (Sweet) And Endives Recipe, first boil separately the endives and the sweet potatoes in salted water for 15 minutes. Drain the water from the endives. Put endives in a baking pan and season. Remove sweet potatoes from water. Peel and slice them thin. Cover endives with sliced potatoes and butter. Add seasonings. Bake in moderate oven for about 20 minutes. Then serve.
